| Land of traditions, Cessenon-sur-Orb
is filled with his wine growing. Vineyards encircling the village give rhythm
to the local life. Of the summer bursting with sunshine grape in
the wine always of quality, this holiday is the occasion to honour the ancestral
values (tools, professions of formerly, harvest in the ancient, songs, dances).
Land of courage, anxiety and hope, our wine growers always fought
strongly (the phylloxera, the 1907 revolt,
the diffuse imports). Always having in the spirit this sentence so
exactly celebrate: " the ground does not belong to us, it is our children
who lend it to us ". In October 01 2005 with the inhabitants of Cessenon, please, come to participate in these 9-th harvest and to taste completely the spectacle which will be offered to you on the Plan Jean Moulin, all day long, organized by the Office of Tourism. |
